Luise Zücker: Empowering Jewelry

Brand Luise Zücker

Words Javier Zamora-Kalazich

Their designs are gender fluid, serving as an explicit invitation to feel strong when wearing them. Established in 2020, Luise Zücker is an interdisciplinary jewelry couture designer brand located in Berlin that has transcended borders, even gracing the ears of supermodel Cara Delevigne with a pair of vulva earrings during an interview with the famous US TV host Jimmy Fallon. Named after the designer mother’s maiden name to honor her legacy, Luise Zücker exudes feminism and femininity simultaneously. Excelling in captivating and sophisticated shapes, the designer brand’s pieces include a variety of bold finger rings, necklaces, earpieces, bracelets, facepieces, and fashion accessories.

I have always been inspired by unusual materials that are not fabric, searching for new ways to surround, transform, and emphasize the human body. I love dressing up and inventing face and body sculptures, so at some point, I ended up designing jewelry and headpieces.

In the words of their head designer and founder, Luise: “I have always been inspired by unusual materials that are not fabric, searching for new ways to surround, transform, and emphasize the human body. I love dressing up and inventing face and body sculptures, so at some point, I ended up designing jewelry and headpieces.” Inspired by the freedom of individual expression, the collections of this Love Brand work always under the goal of empowering all identities through fashion. “My clients are equally divided between all genders. It‘s all about putting the pieces on and to feel strong through them. Especially when I released my VULVA collection, it was perceived as an empowering statement for diversity and feminism”, explains the visionary designer behind the label.
