Do you crave to stroke flesh but the only thing you get is a pixelated, perverted version of altered bodies? This set of nudes comments on the complex interplay between the experience of the body and the effects of this experience’s simulation via the image. Blatantly erotic yet mystically romantic, Kostis Fokas’ photos question the boundaries set through contemporary digital interaction.

This project is stripped from all the previous surreal and vivid shades of Fokas’ aesthetics only to reveal a bold approach to the way the young individual beholds another body in physical and digital terms. The artist’s virtuosity swings among vulgarism and intimacy in a feast of visual treason.
