Los Angeles photographer Ivar Wigan pushes his subjects beyond recognition. With a track record of extravagant collaborators – from trap royalty and strippers to celebrities – and a sixth sense for spotting up-and-coming talent, Ivar’s work has always shown an affection for the outcast, the street-smart, the unusual, and the beautiful. The result is a series that asks a simple question: what remains when we stop looking at who someone is and start looking at how they occupy space?
