Giulia Gr is an Italian artist based in Berlin working mainly with photography and self portraiture, focusing on issues of identity, sexuality, intimacy and self love. The pictures are an extract from a visual diary Giulia created during a time of self isolation this spring together with her partner. The couple used the medium of photography as a therapy and powerful tool to unravel the mind and cope with personal issues. “Vomit the emotions trapped inside our hearts and keep track of our feelings. Clashing passions and tender love can cohabit in a very constricted temporal space and can cause confusion and pain.” Giulia said.
