Ian M is a photographer currently based in Barcelona working in both film and digital photography. As a photographer, he specializes in portrait photography, but he is interested in fashion, fine art, and documentary photography as well. Ian’s approach is to capture the naturality of the subject, focusing on documenting a moment. His exclusive series Don’t Tell Anyone I Was Here explores the idea of voyeurism. By definition Voyeurism is “defined as an interest in observing unsuspecting people while they undress, are naked, or engage in sexual activities. The interest is usually more in the act of watching, rather than in the person being watched.” Ian wanted to further explore the idea of pleasure by exploring the border between loving to be observed and forgetting that someone is looking at us.
