“During my life, so much has changed while remaining intrinsically the same, if that makes sense. It would be hard to pinpoint one or a few emotions, but ‘Unclassifiable’ portrays these passages”, shares Andrés Reisinger. Drawing inspiration from an endless list of sources, including art, fashion, literature, philosophy, spirituality, music, and architecture, among many others, the artist states that his primary creative drive comes from nature, in all its processes and fascinating complexities.

Presented in five different chapters, ‘Unclassifiable’ honors lives up to its name by being a blend of poetic text and images that review the many facets of Andrés’ work. Regarding the strong use of pink, the author explains, “Pink serves as my invitation to encourage shared human experiences through a subconscious feeling of belonging. Pink has always, at least to me, conveyed a strong feeling of warmth and comfort: primal emotions that connect us to our earliest memories of protection, perhaps from within the womb itself. An experience that all living beings have felt. I believe in the power of symbols and communications, and that same sense of universal comfort can be found in anything pink”.
