Caroline Mackintosh: Tangible Love

Artist Caroline Mackintosh

Words Tom Czibolya

“Visibility is not only about seeing something but letting it be experienced” – photographer Caroline Mackintosh’s series is a love letter to the queer community. A part of the Visible Love exhibition and featured in our first-ever print magazine, the Visibility Issue, Caroline’s pictures are all about the human touch and the power that lies within it. The pictures explore the tangibility of love. How we are exploring ourselves and each other through touch. It’s all about making love physical, tangible. Expressing connection and intimacy without the need for a romantic or sexual aspect: the feeling of being connected to one another.
