Container Talks: The Berlin Edition

A new generation of role models has emerged in an era of profound societal change. They are more diverse, more open-minded, and – in many ways – freer than those who came before them. We salute them with a special online series we call „Container Talks“. A series, putting the spotlight on people who inspire us, people who we can look up to, new role models for a new generation.

‘Container Talks’ is our way of listening to these role models. The first season focuses on Berlin’s creative community, featuring musicians, actors, designers, DJs, and art collectors. Container Love handled the concept, artistic direction, casting, and production. The idea was simple: all we needed was a photo studio and a couch.

No Container Love production would be complete without embracing queer topics. Queer culture has shaped how we view fashion, appreciate art, listen to music, and engage with activism. It’s everywhere, and through our interview series, we wanted to explore how queer culture influences our society. What does hyperfemininity mean? How does the war in Ukraine affect the lives of trans people? With this interview series, we hope to show the beauty and vulnerability in each of us.

‘Container Talks’ is our response to any attempt to silence the queer community. Our message is clear: we’ve always been here, and we’re not going anywhere. Deal with it.
