“I want to create work that evokes emotion. It’s through that emotional connection that the impact of what I generate can be felt more deeply” – splitting his time between New York and Montreal, photographer and art director Garrett Naccarato’s art flourishes in the gap between commercials and art galleries, an uncanny duality that he mastered. Garrett’s imagery is extremely versatile, unified by a rather simple approach to storytelling: making people feel something. “Whether it’s sparking curiosity, joy, empathy, or introspection, the ability to resonate with people on an emotional level is something I always strive for in my work. I love this the most.”

When it comes to inspiration, Garrett assigns all the credit to our society, and its people that provide him with an inexhaustible inventory of ideas for his art. “My inspiration comes from human emotions and interactions as they offer such rich insight into the human experience.
