Love can be found everywhere. You just have to take an extra look, be
patient, open your mind to the invisible. In this section, renowned and
newcomer photographers are opening their minds to the invisible, showing
their views on love, sex, body and diversity – from documentary to fashion
editorials, from classical photography to illustration.

SCHWARZENEGGER IS MY IDOL

Sergey Melnitchenko is a photographer from Ukraine. His shared story is about young athletes from Mykolayiv, Ukraine, passionately united by becoming the best of the best in athletics, acrobatics, fitness and bodybuilding.

NATUS °2

Anderson Zomer woke up from hibernation. In the second part of his NATUS project he depicts young and naked men in nature. Why, we asked: "Because the simplest form of being is spontaneous, pure and real – pretty much like nature."

VIDEOTAPE

Annika Weertz is an emerging photographer from Germany whom we had the pleasure to showcase at our recent Container Love exhibition. With her focus on love and intimacy, she exposes people’s vulnerability and breaks down traditional gender roles.

DAEMONIEN

Stefan Gunnesch is a Leipzig based communications designer we have been following for a while, stunned by his play with abstraction and anonymization of the human body with techniques of collage, painting, and drawing.

OUT OF CONTROL

Ruslan Isinev is a conceptual photographer based in Moscow, Russia. We had the pleasure to showcase his work in several Container Love exhibitions. And we’ll continue to do so as well as believing in his biggest goal: creating a world in his own melancholic style.

London based fashion photographer Paul Peter has developed his own aesthetics by putting a provocative twist on the classical approach to photography. PSALMODY is his most recent editorial for Issue 4 C.A.P. 74024 Magazine.

SIMONE

We are in love with Manuel Scrima, a talented artist from Milano who got into many fields of creative work since he was a child. And he has never really stopped: from documentary to fashion photography, from video making to directing, he does it all.

THE FRIEND

If you look Sven Serkis’ long-term project ADAM'S FRUIT, you’ll mostly see bodies. "I often reduce my nudes as far until there are no differences anymore and in this way, we are all equal.", he said. We love his existentially unique and quintessentially nude style.

FORMATION

Anton Shebetko is an Ukrainian artist and photographer based in Amsterdam whose work is mostly weird and funny, sometimes gentle and intimate, but always focused on LGBT-related topics. And that we dig a lot.

HOMAGE TO THE HUMAN BODY

AdeY’s work captures those little moments of social oppression, isolation, anxiety and depression and the hidden humor that comes with it. His work shows that we do not only change in relation to our environment but that our environment adapts to what we become as well.

FRISSON; A SHIVER OF PLEASURE

The work of Dutch photographer Berber Theunissen consists of the kind of mix we really love: poetic with a dark undertone, powerful and yet soothed by the simplicity of composition. We’re giving you her series FRISSON which we exhibited at Container Love in 2017.

ALL I NEED IS LOVE ALL I HAVE IS PORN

This project is stripped from all the previous surreal and vivid shades of Fokas’ aesthetics, only to reveal a bold approach to the way young individuals view other bodies in the streamlining pattern of physicality that emerged in the digital era.

BOYS

Rebecca Ruetten is a nomad artist, her base being Berlin. She is covering a variety of topics from renaissance inspired fast food series to the punk scene of Myanmar – always spot on and with the aim to break gender stereotypes.

SOUL BREATHE

SOUL BREATHE – a romantic series captured by conceptual fashion photographer Ruslan Isinev, exclusively for MMSCENE PORTRAITS. The pictures celebrate the beauty of male model Vladimir Chiriac – represented by Das Model.

FROM HIS ARCHIVE

Rainer Torrado is a photographer who is living and working between Paris, Hong Kong, and Madrid. He regularly contributes to international fashion magazines and has shown some of his stunning pictures at the Container Love exhibition.

CABARET DAYDREAM

Daria Nelson is a Russian soul from Ukraine, now based in Paris, turning her dreams into reality. She feels strongly about tolerance, equal rights and respect for people and blessed us with this beautiful series about overcoming gender boundaries.

GENDER AS A SPECTRUM

Photographer Joseph Wolfgang Ohlert published his first book in 2016. Through his intimate portraits and in combination with interviews he creates a new insight into the community which he supports through his platform for trans- and genderqueer people.

WHATEVER

Amandine is a photographer based in Paris. Her series WHATEVER relates to the Lolita movement during the early 2000’s. The theme focused on teen hyper-sexuality and bad taste at its height, displayed and salvaged by pop culture.

NATURE

Tania Boguslavska has a bachelor's degree in psychology, that allows her – in combination with her photography – to expand the boundaries of visualization and play with all kinds of metaphors and forms, exploring themes such as fear, sexuality, identity and loneliness.

FISHERMAN’S FRIEND

London based fashion photographer Paul Peter created FISHERMAN'S FRIEND exclusively for the second issue of Beton Paper. We have shown it at the Container Love exhibition and are showing it here again for your viewing pleasure.

THE SOUL HAS NO GENDER

Loreen Hinz is a good friend and fashion and art photographer based in Berlin and Leipzig. Together with art director Christian Ruess she did this wonderful fashion collage series about the absurdity of gender roles.

APOCRYPHAL MESSENGERS

Armando Frezze Durand is an artist based in Buenos Aires. He focuses his work on the graphic study of masculinity by exploring and capturing the image of his closest environment and then materializing it in individual or collective samples, books, and short films.

NATUS °1

NATUS is a project by Anderson Zomer that, at first sight, depicts masculinity in a poetic and romantic way. But then again it presents today’s young people confronted with prejudice, the false limitations of masculinity and the taboos of society.

NOCTURNE

We’re deeply in love with the analog photography of French photographer Nicolas Gavino, who is always sensual and intimate with a playful wink. The internet describes his work could as erotic, sentimental, romantic and free. We absolutely agree.

BOYS

With an empathetic and self-reflective sense of intimacy, Birk tells stories about youth, love, sex, and self-awareness. His visual aesthetics, especially his depiction of gay men, derive from his isolated upbringing in Denmark’s countryside.

SKINS

Karolina Hanulak is a photographer from Poland whose work focuses on body and acceptance. Capturing intimate moments, skin and textures, Karolina gets us closer to real beauty and uniqueness untouched by the daily manipulation of the media.

SOME EDITORIAL

Laurence is an emerging non-binary photographer, director and curator living in Montreal/Toronto. Working around themes of color theory, queerness and gender identity, she turns all gender stereotypes into oblivion.

A DANISH GIRL

Daria Nelson, an amazingly talented photographer, is currently living in Paris where she creates a unique and powerful synergy between two of her passions: photography and fashion. We are very happy to show you some of her stunning work right here, right now.

THE CURSED KING

This series is a KALTBLUT exclusive story and photographed by Ruslan Isinev, conceptual portrait and fashion photographer from Moscow. Model and king are Daniil Kydryavcev, a face featured in many magazines.
